Erica Rodgers lives with her husband, two children, and one very lovable, frenetic pit bull mix. Her constant state of ‘fernweh’ fuels a love for travel, but she calls Nashville, Tennessee home.

A Tolkien scholar and former adjunct professor, Erica loves engaging with readers and writers—focusing on craft and building artistic community.

She loves rock climbing, mountain biking, and snowboarding, which makes her sound a lot cooler than she really is. When Erica isn’t writing or talking story over coffee (or tacos), you can find her in the woods or beneath an ever-growing pile of bookish quilting fabric.
